Privacy Policy
A4C Prod LLC (“A4C Prod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at a4cprod.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account registration
When you create an account we collect your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, and the password you choose. Passwords are stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash; we do not store your password in readable form. We also create a basic profile record linked to your account.
Sign-in, sessions, and cookies
When you sign in, we set a session cookie that keeps you logged in while you use the Site. This cookie is strictly necessary, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after a period of inactivity or when you sign out. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own.
For security and account protection, we log account activity such as sign-ins, sign-outs, registration, and password-reset requests, together with the IP address and browser user-agent associated with that activity.
Password reset
If you request a password reset, we generate a time-limited reset token tied to your account and email you a reset link.
Training-request form
When you submit the training-request form, we collect your full name, email address, optional phone number, selected experience level, and selected training track, and use them to respond to your request.
Hosting and server logs
Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically records standard web server logs, such as IP address, date and time, pages requested, referrer, and browser type, and may run its own performance-monitoring script on pages it serves. These logs and scripts are governed by the hosting provider's practices as well as this Policy.
2. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account and let you sign in;
- To respond to training requests and other inquiries;
- To send account-related messages such as password-reset emails;
- To secure the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Amazon and other outbound links
Our Books section links to product pages on Amazon.com and other third-party sites. When you follow those links, you leave the Site, and the third party's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We do not control and are not responsible for information collected by Amazon or other third-party sites. If we take part in an affiliate program, we may receive a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site (such as our web hosting and email providers), when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of A4C Prod, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.
5. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and training requests for as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep business records. Password-reset tokens expire automatically. Security logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to their purpose. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords, and secure session cookies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@a4cprod.org. Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have additional rights. We will respond as required by applicable law. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but signing in requires the session cookie.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through account registration or the training-request form. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
